November 20, 2009Fire Ron Turner petition.
November 15, 2009The good guys over at Fire Ron Turner are starting a petition calling for the duties of Ron Turner to be relieved. Here I am just passing the word around. I already signed it. If you guys want to, just click here. I said in the previous post that Lovie isn’t getting fired anytime soon but good ol’ Ron could be sometime. Besides, there’s nothing to lose. Right?
Bears’ season over.
November 12, 2009Well. That’s it. I told all of guys that I wanted to wait to see what happened with this game before making my decision. The Bears will not make the playoffs (not official but 99.9% doubtful). Well, at least the defense did something good albeit a crappy 49ers offense.
Thanks goes out to Jay Cutler for making me think of Rex Grossman.
Thanks goes out to the offensive line for not letting Matt Forte get any yards and for almost getting Jay Cutler killed on every play. Also, big props to the wide receivers for not knowing how to run a fucking route.
Special thanks to Ron Turner and his predictable plays such as the wide receiver screen to Devin Hester for two yards. Or Dan and Carl’s favorite predicatable play: The I-Formation of Death.
Finally, I want to give thanks to Jerry Angelo and Lovie Smith. Thanks for taking the best kick/punt returner in football and transforming him into a mediocre 3rd receiver.
There is enough blame to go around and not solely on one or two people. From Cutler to the offensive line. To the secondary and the coaching.
I have bad news for you guys: Lovie Smith isn’t getting fired. Maybe next season sometime but not this season or during the offseason. As much as I want him gone now after I defended him numerous times the past couple years, he isn’t going anywhere. Deal with it.
Fuck these damn pricks.
One last thing, I must give credit to reader Captain Kirk for his prediction of this game about two weeks ago and the rest of you guys for telling me that I was wrong by defending Lovie and this team. I was wrong and the rest of you were right.

November 11, 2009The Bears game Thursday night will be on channel 50 for those living in the Chicagoland area.
For you guys living outside Chicago and can’t get NFL Network, if you want to watch the game online for free, let me know. I will give you a couple websites where you can watch it.
Bears down 21-7 in the 2nd. Game over.
November 8, 2009That’s right. The game is over. If they don’t win Thursday, their season will be over.

November 5, 2009It doesn’t really matter.
November 2, 2009
The Bears beat the Browns on Sunday 30-6. If you look at just the stats and score (Cue Irish Yeti), you would probably think the Bears totally dominated the game. Well, on defense, they did and it was expected. On offense, the running game got going and Cutler had a decent game. But damn. Can the offensive line protect this guy?
Along with the four sacks that he took, Cutler was sandwiched about five other times during the game. I think he has been sacked at least 10 or 15 times so far and only seven games have been played. He got hit in the mouth, had a bloody tongue after biting it and I don’t know how the hell he got back up after a couple of those hits by Shaun Rogers. One of those times, he got up real slowly and the first thing that went through my mind was “Please. Don’t be hurt”. It seems like everytime he steps back to pass, he is running for his life. Well, we still suck. I do not want to see Caleb Hanie out there at all unless the Bears are either up 30 or down 30.
Josh Beekman had the start on the left side of the line in place of Frank Omiyale and that should stay that way. On Sunday, the problems still were there. Kevin Shaeffer should maybe start either in place of Pace which is doubtful or for Chris Williams on the right side. More changes still need to be made. Maybe a lineman is available for the Bears to pick up to try to help this season. Right now, this team is not going far until the line gets fixed.
So in a nutshell, this win does not mean shit. The Bears failed to put more points on the board and especially in the red zone. Matt Forte had a good game which was nice to see. I will give credit to the defense for not allowing Cleveland to use the infamous “I-Pass” against the Bears. If the defense sucked on Sunday, then there are more problems than we may think.
A 4-3 record with Arizona coming to town next week isn’t what some of us expected but it could be worse. This is a must win game. As of right now, the Giants, Cowboys, Falcons and Packers all seem to be contenders for the Wild Card spots. The division race is already over with the Vikings pretty much in control. Is it me or are Vikings fans the worse in football? I digress.
Bears/Packers game on December 13th
October 29, 2009JimmyD sent a message to me the other day asking about the website first get-together which is also the day the Bears play the Packers. We all have been planning this for almost four years. As of right now, it is me, Mike and JimmyD on the list. I think Genre posted in the first thread about this that it is a possibillity he could make it if it is near Chicago or close to it. I am leaning towards a location in the northern suburbs closer
So any of you else can make it (Keith, Matt Stairs, Chucky, Robert, Nemo, Captain Kirk, Dave, Sandberg23 etc.), please let me know so I can take a list down. You can bring someone with if you want. It would be nice if we can get about 10 people or so.
There is still about a month and a half left before this but I am doing this for some of you guys who work a lot to get a day off to make it. I will take another count in a few weeks.
Chicago Bears secondary’s nickname: The I-Pass
October 27, 2009I said this in the last thread and I am declaring it the new nickname of the Chicago Bears cornerbacks and safeties. If anybody tries to steal this fucking name, they shall be burned for theft.
So without further a do, the secondary of the Chicago Bears shall be known as: The I-Pass

“The first week of the season, we were down early. We were stubborn not to use the I-Pass all game. But when we really needed it, our quarterback Aaron installed the I-Pass and I ended up scoring the game winning touchdown free and easy. This is a must have for any team playing the Bears.”
– Greg Jennings, Green Bay, WI
“After the 1st quarter of our game against the Bears two weeks ago, I installed the I-Pass and had an easy catch for a long touchdown. No stops. No slowing down. And my stats? (Cue Irish Yeti) Well, they went through the roof that game. Thank you I-Pass!”
– Roddy White, Atlanta, GA
“I thought I wasn’t playing my best earlier in the season. But thank God the Chicago Bears came to town this past Sunday. I played them with my I-Pass and helped my team put up 31 points in the 1st half!”
– Carson Palmer, Cincinnati, OH
Now you can get yours now with free shipping! The I-Pass: Not just for cars. But now availble for teams who play the Chicago Bears. Quarterback not in a groove? Running back not getting it done? Just play the Bears with your I-Pass from the Illinois Tollway and see your offense drive right by. No more stopping at tolls or construction sites. No more screaming at your players for running the wrong routes. Just mount the I-Pass onto your offense and see your team put up big stats! (Cue Irish Yeti)
Bears lose game after first drive.
October 25, 200921-0 Bengals in the 2nd quarter. The game is over. The Bears won’t comeback.
I am not going to write a recap. There is no need to repeat myself week after week.
ex. Bears secondary cannot guard anybody. Ron Turner is an idiot. The offensive line sucks.
Fuck this team.
